Location

We are located within William's Wood, just outside Tarvin, where the owner has provided us, free of charge, a land package that allows us to maintain 8 lanes, shooting out to 100m, all year round.

Membership

Members are given the code to the electric gates and access to the equipment store and kitchen. The range is available to members from midday until sunset, daily.

In the Winter season we have a single club meet on Sunday afternoons from midday.

In the Summer season we have two club meets on Thursday from 1800 and Sunday from midday.

To become a member of William's Wood Archers you will either be a current member of Archery GB or you will have completed our route to membership which comprises one or some have a go (hag) sessions followed by our beginners course (bc).

As a club we are privileged to have free access to an established woodland setting which gives us an idyllic range to shoot on. There will be no exceptions to the rules laid down in our licence for use and the landowner reserves the tight to permanently ban any member who causes them, or their company, an adverse issue by action or words.

Fees

Due to not needing to pay land rent we have very reasonable fees that comprise our club fee, Northern County's Archery Society fee and Cheshire Archery Association fee. Archery GB membership is paid to them directly. If you can demonstrate membership of NCAS and/or CAA then those fees will be deducted and you will only pay our club fee element.

Under 18 - £30 per year or part thereof.

Over 18 - £65 per year or part thereof.
